In its October 2006 meeting, the CHIP Leadership Group formally accepted the report from the CHIP Mental Health Task Force and wishes to use its recommendations as general parameters to guide a new mental health task force under the auspices of the CHIP Leadership Group. This sub-committee should explore the feasibility of the recommendations contained in the June 30, 2006, report made by the initial task force and make its own recommendations for improvements to mental health services in Douglas County.
